Hi! I require your help regarding a problem I’m encountering. Description: My litter robot 3 recently started flashing the blue-yellow-green “cannot find dump position” error code and won’t cycle after the cats use it. If I press “reset” and then “cycle” it will cycle as normally (or almost as normally, see below) but when it returns to the home position the same error lights start flashing again. One thing I have noticed is that, when it is cycling and it reaches the end of its first turn, th...

4. Translation From Status Codes to Plain English for Notification
26 apr 2024 · I'm wondering what the easiest way would be for it to deliver the translated status description in the notification instead of the status code.
I have the following notification to notify me when my Litter Robot reports a status change. The problem is that the notification sends me the 3 letter status code that triggered it, when what I want it to do is send me the status description, which I was able to find here. When writing logs to the logbook it uses the status description instead of the status code. I’m wondering what the easiest way would be for it to deliver the translated status description in the notification instead of the...

The Litter Robot 3 is an incredibly popular automatic cat litter box which automatically detects when a cat has entered and exited, and rotates the main globe to sift and dump the used litter. It is subjected to conditions which most robots - if they had a choice, would prefer not to be subjected to. There's a lot of dust and debris which can cause issues, which leads to the robot not operating correctly. Customers often search online for a solution before contacting technical support, so this guide is intended to cover the most common situations.
